Man faced with felony offense in pending North Country burglary investigation

CHAMPION- A man is faced with a felony amidst a pending North Country burglary investigation, authorities say.

Ryan J. Clearo, 25, of Deferiet, NY was arrested Thursday morning by the New York State Police (Lowville). He is officially charged with one felony count of criminally possessing stolen property in the third-degree (value exceeding $3,000).

According to Troopers, the arrest stems from burglary complaints in the town of Champion.

At press time, police said an investigation was still pending. Clearo was released on his own recognizance.
