Man indicted by grand jury for felony child pornography charges in West Leyden: LCSO

LEWIS- A grand jury has indicted a man on felony child pornography charges in Lewis County, authorities say.

Matthias J. Kubick, 30, of Altmar, NY is officially faced with 20 felony counts of possessing child pornography on a mobile phone, according to the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office.

Officials say a sealed indictment warrant was issued for Kubick back on June 30. Investigators said these charges stem from complaints received in West Leyden, NY.

Following processing at the Public Safety Building, Kubick appeared in Lewis County Court for arraignment.

He was remanded to the county jail on $3,000 cash bail.

Police said Kubick is also being held on a probation warrant.
