WEBB- A man from out of state is faced with an unlicensed operation accusation in the wake of a property damage accident in the Western Adirondacks, authorities say.
Ryan P. Verdi, 38, of Mullica Hill, NJ was arrested November 23 by the Town of Webb Police Department. He is officially charged with aggravated unlicensed operation in the third-degree.
Chief of Police Ron Johnston reports the arrest was made after emergency responders investigated a property damage accident on Stillwater Road, town of Webb.
It’s alleged that Verdi did knowingly drive a motor vehicle, on a public roadway, while only possessing a non-driver ID. Police also said Verdi’s driving privileges were suspended when the wreck occurred because he reportedly failed to answer a summons in Broome County.
Verdi was processed and released with a uniform traffic ticket, returnable to Webb Town Court.
