WILNA- A North Country resident is faced with a trio of charges stemming from a reported domestic dispute this week in Jefferson County, authorities say.

Timothy Neal Keller, 46, of Carthage, NY was arrested early Thursday by the New York State Police (Watertown). Keller is formally charged with one misdemeanor count each of menacing in the second-degree (w/a weapon); criminal obstruction of breathing and criminally possessing a weapon in the fourth-degree.

According to Troopers, these charges were filed in the wake of an alleged domestic incident, which was reported Wednesday afternoon in the town of Wilna.

At press time, police said an investigation was pending. Meanwhile, Keller’s arrest status suggested an appearance for centralized arraignment.

There were no further details provided.
