The National average price for a gallon of fuel was $3.58 as of Tuesday, 30-cents cheaper than last-year at this time, according to the AAA.

As long as fighting overseas between Hamas and Israel doesn’t boil over to the point of involving other countries, AAA spokesperson Andrew Gross says the overall impact on the gas and oil market is expected to be minimal.

As of this report, the average gallon of gas in New York hovers around $3.80, up from this time last-year when it was averaging $3.67, but cheaper than last-month’s $3.91 average.

When comparing the two separate Israeli and Ukrainian conflicts, a critical difference, according to the AAA, is that Russia is a significant oil producer, while the territories of Palestine and Israel are not, hence the dramatic spike in prices during most of 2022.

According to GasBuddy, gas prices in Lowville, NY are as low as $3.75 and $3.89 in Boonville, NY.

If you take a drive to Watertown, NY, GasBuddy sources say you’ll find prices as low as $3.59 as of this report, with several other prices ranging up to $3.89.

Down in Syracuse, NY, the lowest prices are as cheap as $3.73 and $3.77 in Utica, NY, of course with other price ranges mixed in upwards of $3.93.
