Minor injuries reported in UTV roll-over near Boonville, Fire Chief says

LEWIS COUNTY- A UTV roll-over accident early Sunday near Boonville, NY sent three to a nearby hospital, authorities say.

It happened shortly before 4:00 a.m., near the intersection of Fitch and Dutch Hill Roads, town of Leyden.

Boonville Fire Chief Dave Pritchard Jr. told us a UTV flipped over, resulting in minor injuries for the three occupants. All were taken by ambulance to St. Elizabeth’s Hospital for evaluation.

Specific injuries were not described by emergency responders.

A cause for this accident was not specified, but Chief Pritchard Jr. told us the New York State Police (Lowville) responded to investigate.
