Mohawk valley resident charged with unauthorized use of motor vehicle in Holland Patent, Troopers say

HOLLAND PATENT- A resident from the Mohawk Valley is accused of using a vehicle without the owner’s consent in Oneida County, authorities are reporting.

Douglas J. Ossenfort, 48, of New Hartford, NY was arrested on Saturday morning by the New York State Police (Remsen). Ossenfort is formally charged with one misdemeanor count of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle (w/out owner’s consent).

According to Troopers, the arrest stems from complaints filed earlier that same morning in the village of Holland Patent.

At press time, police said that Ossenfort has been issued with an appearance ticket.

There were no further details provided.
