Moose Snowmobile Trail Reports for Friday, February 14, 2025
Snowmobiling 2025 marches on across upstate New York and the North Country.
Another weekend of riding has arrived and despite a brief warm-up and rainstorm on Thursday, trails are shaping up to remain in good to even excellent condition.
With that said, keep a watchful eye out for potential fallen limbs and other debris, as a powerful front of wind moved through behind the rainstorm.
Sled traffic is expected to be intense, so if you are planning to hit the trails, be mindful of the throttle and other riders.
Here are some of the latest reports we’ve gathered from around the local area:

Barnes Corners Sno-Pals: Groomers have been out.
Brantingham Snowmobile Club: Groomers have been working the trails.
Long Pond Sno Sled Club: Trails remain in good shape.
Lost Trail Snowmobile Club: Trails are expected to be great for the weekend.
Missing Link Snowmobile Club: Groomers will be active this weekend.
Osceola Snowmobile Association: Watch for icy spots. Groomers have been out.
Ohio Ridge Riders: Trails remain in good shape.
Old Forge/Town of Webb: Good to excellent conditions remain throughout.
Penn Mountain Snow Riders: Groomers were busy during the past week.
Southern Tug Hill Sno-Riders: Expect good to excellent trail conditions.
Trackside Blazers: Groomers will be out over the weekend.
Turin Ridge Riders: Groomers have been busy.
Valley Snow Travelers: Very good conditions expected.
NOTICE: Local law enforcement and snowmobile club officials are warning all riders to obey any and all rules and regulations. This includes, but is not limited to: respecting closed trails and staying off from private property. Police warn to never snowmobile while intoxicated or under the influence of any substance. Watch your speeds and remember to look out for and give right-of-way to groomers on the trails.
