Moose Snowmobile Trail Reports for Friday, February 21, 2025

Snowmobiling, 2025 marches on across upstate New York and the North Country.

At this rate, it seems likely that we will have favorable trail conditions through March and into April.

Nothing much has changed regarding the overall shape of the trails in Central and Northern New York – conditions remain fantastic – the best they have been in years and another busy weekend of riding is ahead.

Here are some of the latest reports we’ve gathered from around the local area:

Barnes Corners Sno-Pals: Trails are in good shape and groomers have been out.

Brantingham Snowmobile Club: Trails are smooth thanks to recent grooming.

Long Pond Sno Sled Club: Conditions remain great.

Lost Trail Snowmobile Club: Lots of debris has been removed. Use caution.

Missing Link Snowmobile Club: Groomers were busy earlier in the week.

Osceola Snowmobile Association: Lots of snow on the trail system.

Ohio Ridge Riders: Plenty of snow reported; groomers have been out.

Old Forge/Town of Webb: Very good conditions are expected for the weekend.

Penn Mountain Snow Riders: Lots of snow; groomers have been out.

Southern Tug Hill Sno-Riders: Conditions remain great.

Trackside Blazers: Trails have been groomed this week.

Turin Ridge Riders: Plenty of snow and groomers are expected to be out.

Valley Snow Travelers: Trails are groomed and ready for the weekend.

NOTICE: Local law enforcement and snowmobile club officials are warning all riders to obey any and all rules and regulations. This includes, but is not limited to: respecting closed trails and staying off from private property. Police warn to never snowmobile while intoxicated or under the influence of any substance. Watch your speeds and remember to look out for and give right-of-way to groomers on the trails.
