Moose Snowmobile Trail Reports for Friday, February 7, 2025
Snowmobiling 2025 marches on across upstate New York and the North Country.
We have arrived to the second weekend of February and the snowmobiling conditions so far this season have been second to none.
The snowpack remains very healthy across the Central and Northern New York regions. Not much has changed for the worst.
It looks like the trails will remain in good shape and groomers are expected to be busy amidst increased sled traffic.
Here are some of the latest reports we’ve gathered from around the local area:

Barnes Corners Sno-Pals: Lots of snow and great trail conditions.
Brantingham Snowmobile Club: Conditions remain good.
Long Pond Sno Sled Club: Grooming continues and trails in great shape.
Lost Trail Snowmobile Club: Enjoy the riding – trails remain in great shape.
Missing Link Snowmobile Club: Groomers have been out and the trails are holding up.
Osceola Snowmobile Association: Conditions remain good and groomers have been busy.
Ohio Ridge Riders: Groomers have been busy and the trails remain good.
Old Forge/Town of Webb: Good trail conditions are expected for the weekend.
Penn Mountain Snow Riders: The weekend looks fantastic for riding.
Southern Tug Hill Sno-Riders: Conditions remain great and groomers have been out.
Trackside Blazers: Groomers were out Thursday night. Expect good conditions.
Turin Ridge Riders: All trails are open and lower trails have improved with better snow coverage.
Valley Snow Travelers: Groomers went out on Tug Hill Thursday night and reported excellent conditions.
NOTICE: Local law enforcement and snowmobile club officials are warning all riders to obey any and all rules and regulations. This includes, but is not limited to: respecting closed trails and staying off from private property. Police warn to never snowmobile while intoxicated or under the influence of any substance. Watch your speeds and remember to look out for and give right-of-way to groomers on the trails.
