CHAMPION- Four local suspects from Lewis County are now faced with charges stemming from a North Country burglary complaint back in December, authorities say.
This story is an update to a publication this past week, where an 18-year-old Croghan, NY resident was charged (and granted a juvenile/youthful offender status) with criminally possessing stolen property in the fifth-degree (misdemeanor) in the town of Champion, Jefferson County.
As of Friday morning’s press time, State Police investigators have charged these additional suspects with the same: 18-year-old Castorland, NY resident (granted juvenile and/or youthful offender status); Caiden Michael Monnat, 19, of Lowville, NY and Seth Michael Lehman, 20, of Croghan, NY.
Authorities said that an investigation is still pending and all suspects have been issued with an appearance ticket.
