Moose Snowmobile Trail Reports for Thursday, February 20, 2025
Snowmobiling 2025 marches on across upstate New York and the North Country.
Despite another blast of cold air that is expected to last into this upcoming weekend, the weather pattern seems to have settled down, at-least for the time being.
Though several snowmobile clubs have been removing various scattered debris from a wind and snowstorm a few days ago, trails across the Central New York and North Country regions are shaping up to remain fantastic for the near future.
Here are some of the latest reports we’ve gathered from around the local area:

Barnes Corners Sno-Pals: Groomers have been busy; trails are good.
Brantingham Snowmobile Club: Trails remain in good shape.
Long Pond Sno Sled Club: Conditions remain great.
Lost Trail Snowmobile Club: Trails are open; watch for hazards.
Missing Link Snowmobile Club: Watch for snow drifts.
Osceola Snowmobile Association: Use caution and watch for debris.
Ohio Ridge Riders: Groomers have been out this week.
Old Forge/Town of Webb: Very good conditions remain.
Penn Mountain Snow Riders: Lots of snow; groomers have been out.
Southern Tug Hill Sno-Riders: Several trails are groomed.
Trackside Blazers: Trails are cleaned up and groomers are out.
Turin Ridge Riders: Plenty of snow and groomers are expected to be out.
Valley Snow Travelers: All trails have been groomed within the last day.
NOTICE: Local law enforcement and snowmobile club officials are warning all riders to obey any and all rules and regulations. This includes, but is not limited to: respecting closed trails and staying off from private property. Police warn to never snowmobile while intoxicated or under the influence of any substance. Watch your speeds and remember to look out for and give right-of-way to groomers on the trails.
