Missing Link Groomer Pic February 2023

There is nothing much new to report overall.

On the heels of some brutal cold temperatures, Mother Nature has kicked Old Man Winter to the curb, again; with another mild stretch of weather forecasted this week.

Although several trail systems remain open, it seems there are numerous sections that have developed thinner snow and base coverage.

Beware of water and mud holes. Here are the latest updates we’ve gathered:

NOTE: Conditions are likely and do tend to change on a moment’s notice. Be sure to keep checking our website for any updates.

Barnes Corners Sno-Pals: Montague Trails groomed Wednesday night; most trails are fair to good.

Brantingham Snowmobile Club: Trails are open; lower trails very thin and no more grooming until further notice.

Long Pond Sno Sled Club: Trails are open; coverage varies; base is thin.

Lost Trail Snowmobile Club: Trails are open; coverage is thin.

Missing Link Snowmobile Club: Trails are very thin; groomers are parked.

Osceola Snowmobile Association: Trails remain open; icy corners reported.

Ohio Ridge Riders: No updates since February 2.

Old Forge/Town of Webb: Trails remain in fair shape; with two to six-inches of base.

Penn Mountain Snow Riders: No recent updates; closures may occur with impending weather.

Southern Tug Hill Sno-Riders: All trails are open; groomers went out to West Leyden; Swnacott Mills and Highmarket.

Trackside Blazers: Trails are open, but thin in some areas; groomers have been in Forestport and up to White Lake.

Turin Ridge Riders: Tug Hill Trails are open; some lower trails are open and thin; some lower trails are closed.

NOTICE: Local law enforcement and snowmobile club officials are warning all riders to obey any and all rules and regulations. This includes, but is not limited to: respecting closed trails and staying off from private property. Police warn to never snowmobile while intoxicated or under the influence of any substance. Watch your speeds and remember to look out for and give right-of-way to groomers on the trails.
