Snowmobiling 2025 marches on across upstate New York and the North Country.

At this rate, it seems likely that we will have favorable trail conditions through March and into April. A brief warm-up is in store this week, according to the National Weather Service Forecast.

High temperatures are expected to creep into the 40’s before dipping back down to a colder pattern starting this weekend.

Overall, the snowpack remains very healthy from Central New York to the North Country and Western Adirondacks.

Here are some of the latest reports we’ve gathered from around the local area:

Barnes Corners Sno-Pals: Grooming is suspended until further notice. Watch for icy corners.

Brantingham Snowmobile Club: Trails were groomed over the weekend.

Long Pond Sno Sled Club: Conditions have been good.

Lost Trail Snowmobile Club: The entire system was groomed over the weekend.

Missing Link Snowmobile Club: Trails to Copenhagen were groomed on Saturday.

Osceola Snowmobile Association: Groomers have been out.

Ohio Ridge Riders: Trail conditions remain good.

Old Forge/Town of Webb: Trail conditions remain good.

Penn Mountain Snow Riders: Groomers have been busy.

Southern Tug Hill Sno-Riders: Trails are open, but no grooming.

Trackside Blazers: C7 from Forestport and points north groomed Saturday night.

Turin Ridge Riders: Groomers have been on the trails.

Valley Snow Travelers: Trails have been groomed as of Sunday.

NOTICE: Local law enforcement and snowmobile club officials are warning all riders to obey any and all rules and regulations. This includes, but is not limited to: respecting closed trails and staying off from private property. Police warn to never snowmobile while intoxicated or under the influence of any substance. Watch your speeds and remember to look out for and give right-of-way to groomers on the trails.
