Missing Link Groomers March 2023

It appears (for now) that Old Man Winter has woken up from his mid-winter slumber.

Over the last few days, the general central and northern New York area has picked up fresh snowfall and the trails have been re-opening.

It looks like we’ll be charging into March with more favorable riding conditions, despite a dismal winter season.

Here are the latest updates we’ve gathered:

NOTE: Conditions are likely and do tend to change on a moment’s notice. Be sure to keep checking our website for any updates.

Barnes Corners Sno-Pals: Tug Hill trails remain good; Copenhagen and Montague Trails will soon be groomed.

Brantingham Snowmobile Club: Most trails are open; conditions vary.

Long Pond Sno Sled Club: Trails are open; some thin and icy conditions were reported over the weekend.

Lost Trail Snowmobile Club: “Pretty good” conditions reported.

Missing Link Snowmobile Club: Poor to fair and “passable” conditions reported.

Osceola Snowmobile Association: Good conditions reported; best riding has been Cedar Pines (north) and east to Highmarket.

Penn Mountain Snow Riders: Grooming crews went from Alder Creek to Steuben Monday night.

Southern Tug Hill Sno-Riders: Grooming is expected this week; conditions expected to improve towards the weekend.

NOTICE: Local law enforcement and snowmobile club officials are warning all riders to obey any and all rules and regulations. This includes, but is not limited to: respecting closed trails and staying off from private property. Police warn to never snowmobile while intoxicated or under the influence of any substance. Watch your speeds and remember to look out for and give right-of-way to groomers on the trails.
