Moose Snowmobile Trail Reports for Tuesday, February 4, 2025
Snowmobiling 2025 marches on across upstate New York and the North Country.
February has arrived and the snowmobiling conditions so far this season have been second to none. The snowpack remains very healthy across the Central and Northern New York regions.
The sled traffic has remained steady and typically has been increasing significantly during the weekends.
Here are some of the latest reports we’ve gathered from around the local area:

Barnes Corners Sno-Pals: Conditions are expected to be good this week.
Brantingham Snowmobile Club: Groomers have been out and trails remain good.
Long Pond Sno Sled Club: Grooming continues and trails in great shape.
Lost Trail Snowmobile Club: Excellent conditions and good snow coverage reported.
Missing Link Snowmobile Club: Groomers have been out on the trails.
Osceola Snowmobile Association: No new reports since January 25.
Ohio Ridge Riders: Groomers have been busy and the trails remain good.
Old Forge/Town of Webb: Conditions remain good.
Penn Mountain Snow Riders: Most trails are groomed and conditions remain good.
Southern Tug Hill Sno-Riders: Good snow coverage throughout and groomers have been out.
Trackside Blazers: Trails have been holding up well.
Turin Ridge Riders: All trails are open and lower trails have improved with better snow coverage.
Valley Snow Travelers: Groomers are expected to roll this week and trails remain good.
NOTICE: Local law enforcement and snowmobile club officials are warning all riders to obey any and all rules and regulations. This includes, but is not limited to: respecting closed trails and staying off from private property. Police warn to never snowmobile while intoxicated or under the influence of any substance. Watch your speeds and remember to look out for and give right-of-way to groomers on the trails.
