Moose Snowmobile Trail Reports for Wednesday, January 28, 2026

Trail conditions have certainly improved since early on this month and the future looks bright for continued good riding!
A significant cold snap has burrowed its way in and there are no signs of relief in sight, meaning that trails should remain smooth in the coming weeks ahead.
Grooming fleets here from the Tug Hill Plateau and across to the Western Adirondacks have been busy the last several days. Here are some of the latest trail reports we’ve gathered from around the local area:

Barnes Corners Sno-Pals: Great riding conditions remain.
Brantingham Snowmobile Club: Trails have been open and groomers have been busy.
Long Pond Sno Sled Club: Good riding reported and groomers will be out.
Lost Trail Snowmobile Club: Everything is in great shape and grooming is steady!
Missing Link Snowmobile Club: Trails to Maples and Copenhagen were groomed earlier this week.
Osceola Snowmobile Association: Trails are open and conditions are great!
Ohio Ridge Riders: Groomers have been busy and trails remain good.
Old Forge/Town of Webb: Trails have been ranging from good to great!
Penn Mountain Snow Riders: Groomers went out earlier this week.
Southern Tug Hill Sno-Riders: Trails range from good to excellent.
Trackside Blazers: Groomers have been very active (C7 Rails groomed to Thendara).
Turin Ridge Riders: The entire trail system remains in great shape.
Valley Snow Travelers: Tug Hill Trails and Lower Trails have all been groomed.
NOTICE: Local law enforcement and snowmobile club officials are warning all riders to obey any and all rules and regulations. This includes, but is not limited to: respecting closed trails and staying off from private property. Police warn to never snowmobile while intoxicated or under the influence of any substance. Watch your speeds and remember to look out for and give right-of-way to groomers on the trails.
