Motorists advised of some local road work during week of October 13

Drivers are reminded to beware of some roadwork happening this week in the local area.

In the town of Forestport, folks should beware of work crews on State Route 28 (at Alder Creek Road). Crews are working to replace a National Grid pole and there will be lane closures in both directions, with flaggers posted to direct traffic.

Also in the town of Western, drivers are warned to beware of lane closures along State Route 46 (between Main Street and Gifford Hill Road) as crews execute some culvert work.

Temporary traffic signals will be established to assist the flow of traffic.
