NEW: Victim in fatal Forestport fire identified

FORESTPORT- The victim in Sunday night’s fatal fire has officially been identified.

As previously reported, emergency responders found the body of a deceased individual during the immediate aftermath of a structure fire at 111 Deer Run Road.

According to Sheriff’s Investigators, this deceased victim has been identified as Dennis Antl, 81.

At press time, authorities said an investigation remains ongoing to determine a cause and origin.

There may be more developments that surface at another time, the Sheriff’s Office said.
