New York’s Cannabis Control Board approves move to allow marijuana sales at state events

Following a decision by New York’s Cannabis Control Board, marijuana sales at state events have now been approved.

According to the latest from the Associated Press, this development blossoms amidst numerous complaints from cannabis growers who claimed there are far too few dispensaries to sell what they harvest.

The move allows three or more growers to partner with retailers for consumer sales outside dispensaries, specifically at locally sanctioned and/or adult oriented events.

It’s reported that municipal approval will be required.

Cannabis regulators say there are currently 20 licensed retailers selling statewide, with another 40 more in the development process.
