Newport resident accused of intoxicated driving in Oneida County, Troopers say

ONEIDA COUNTY- A resident from the Kuyahoora Valley area is accused of intoxicated driving, following a traffic stop late Sunday in Oneida County.

New York State Police from the Marcy Barracks arrested Katie L. Dufrane, 33, of Newport, NY. Dufrane is officially charged with one count each of DWI (first-offense) and operating a motor vehicle (w/a .08 of 1% BAC).

According to Troopers, these charges were filed following a traffic stop in the town of Marcy shortly before 11:00 p.m. 

At press time, police said Dufrane was issued with an appearance ticket.

There were no further details provided from authorities.
