North Country juvenile arrested, charged with felony burglary in Jefferson County

CARTHAGE- A teenage suspect from Jefferson County is face with a felony charge after authorities investigated a burglary complaint last month in the North Country, authorities say.

The 15-year-old juvenile, who is from Carthage, NY, was arrested Monday afternoon by the New York State Police (Lowville). The teen was formally charged with one felony count of burglary in the third-degree (illegal entry w/intent to commit a crime).

A suspect name or gender was not provided from State Police officials (juvenile offender/youthful offender status).

According to Troopers, the arrest stems from a burglary complaint in Carthage, NY, which was filed on May 19.

At press time, police said an investigation was pending. The suspect was issued a family court appearance ticket.
