North Country juvenile charged with felony burglary in Jefferson Country, Troopers say

WEST CARTHAGE- A teenage suspect from the North Country is accused of a felony burglary charge in Jefferson County, authorities say.

On Tuesday afternoon, the New York State Police arrested and charged a 15-year-old juvenile with one felony count of burglary in the third-degree (illegal entry w/intent to commit a crime).

A suspect name or gender was not provided, due to youthful offender status. With that said, police clarified that the juvenile suspect is from Carthage, NY.

The arrest stems from a burglary investigation last month in the village of West Carthage, NY.

At press time, Troopers said an investigation was pending. Meanwhile, the teenage suspect was issued a family court appearance ticket.
