North Country resident accused of intoxicated driving in Jefferson County

CHAMPION- A traffic stop late Thursday night in Jefferson County has resulted in a DWI arrest.

Christopher Reed Sherron, 29, of Carthage, NY is formally charged by the New York State Police (Carthage) with one count each of DWI (first offense) and operating a motor vehicle (w/a .08 of 1% BAC or greater).

According to Troopers, these charges were filed in the town of Champion.

At press time, police said that Sherron was issued with an appearance ticket.
