North Country resident accused of menacing and criminally possessing a weapon in Jefferson County

WEST CARTHAGE- A menacing case in Jefferson County has resulted in the arrest of a local resident.

On Wednesday night, the New York State Police (Carthage) charged John Allen Lottig, 45, of Carthage, NY with one misdemeanor charge of menacing in the second-degree and criminally possessing a weapon in the fourth-degree (w/intent to use).

According to Troopers, the arrest was made stemming from an alleged menacing incident in the village of West Carthage, NY.

There were no further details provided at press time.
