North Country resident charged for allegedly possessing meth and narcotics, police say

WATERTOWN- A North Country resident is charged for allegedly possessing meth and various narcotic pills in Jefferson County, authorities say.

Desiree Dobransky, 32, of Carthage, NY was arrested Wednesday afternoon by the City of Watertown Police. Dobransky is formally charged with felony counts of criminally possessing a controlled substance in the second-degree and criminally possessing a controlled substance in the third-degree (w/intent to sell).

According to police officials, Dobransky is accused of possessing meth and other narcotics, including hydrocodone.

The charges stem from an arrest made on September 10 on High Street.

At press time, officials said that Dobransky was held for arraignment in CAP Court.

There were no further details provided.
