
CHAMPION- A resident from the North Country is faced with a charge that stems from a Jefferson County harassment complaint, authorities say.
The 18-year-old subject, who is from Carthage, NY, was not identified by the New York State Police (Carthage). The suspect is officially charged with a misdemeanor count of acting in a manner injurious to a child under the age of 17.

The harassment complaint in question was filed this week on Tuesday in the town of Champion, Troopers say.
At press time, police said the suspect was issued with an appearance ticket.
