North Country resident charged with obstructing governmental administration following trespass complaint in Jefferson County

PAMELIA- A trespass incident this week in Jefferson County resulted in the arrest of a North Country area resident.

Shawna B. Burke, 39, of Carthage, NY was formally charged on Wednesday by the New York State Police (Watertown) with one misdemeanor count of obstructing governmental administration in the second-degree.

According to Troopers, this arrest was made on Wednesday morning following a trespassing complaint in the town of Pamelia.

At press time, authorities said that Burke was issued with an appearance ticket.
