North Country resident facing child pornography charges, State Police Investigators say

CARTHAGE- A North Country resident is faced with several child pornography charges, according to authorities.

Travis D. Kizzer, 43, of Carthage, NY was arrested Thursday morning by the New York State Police (Lowville).

Kizzer is formally charged with two felony counts each of possessing a sexual performance of a child, promoting a sexual performance by a child (under 17) and use of a child during sexual performance, along with one felony count each of criminal sex act in the second-degree (victim less than 15) and criminal sex act in the third-degree (actor over 21 and victim under 17) and one misdemeanor count of endangering the welfare of a child.

Investigators say these charges were all filed in the village of Carthage, NY. At press time, an arrest status for Kizzer was not reported.
