North Country Teens accused of felony burglary, Troopers say

CARTHAGE- A pair of local juveniles are faced with felony burglary charges in the North Country, authorities say. The two teenagers, one who is 18 and the other who is 16, both from Carthage, NY were arrested early Friday by the New York State Police (Lowville). Both teens were formally charged with one felony count each of burglary in the third-degree (illegal entry w/intent to commit a crime). According to Troopers, these charges were filed in the village of Carthage, NY. Names or genders for the suspects were not provided. The 16-year-old was issued with an appearance ticket, while the arrest status at press time for the 18-year-old suggested they appeared in centralized arraignment. There were no further details issued.
