NOTICE: Port Leyden to host public hearing over proposed increased sewer and water rates

PORT LEYDEN- Village residents in Port Leyden, NY will soon have an opportunity to discuss a proposed increase to their sewer and water rates.

A public hearing has been scheduled for Monday, March 20 at the Town Justice Building (Mechanic Street).

The meeting will begin at 6:00 p.m. In the proposal, officials are aiming to increase both sewer and water rates $25 each, per-quarter.

If approved, it would be effective for June’s billing and forward.
