NWS ALERT: Flood Warning extended for the Black River from Boonville to Watertown through Friday afternoon

The Flood Warning continues for the following river: Black River (affecting Lewis and Jefferson Counties).

For the Black River, including between Boonville and Watertown, minor flooding is forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks. The next statement will be issued by Friday afternoon.
