TUG HILL PLATEAU- WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH 7 A.M. EST SATURDAY.

* WHAT...Mixed precipitation expected. Total snow and sleet accumulations 2 to 4 inches and ice accumulations one to two tenths of an inch.

* WHERE...The Eastern Lake Ontario Region.

* WHEN...Through 7 A.M. EST Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. Power outages and tree damage are likely due to the ice. Travel could be nearly impossible. The hazardous conditions will impact the Friday morning and evening commutes.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...Periods of snow, sleet or freezing rain will result in slippery roads and limited visibilities. Slow down and use caution while driving. Submit snow and ice reports through our website or social media.

 

NORTHERN ONEIDA COUNTY- WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH 7 A.M. EST SATURDAY.

* WHAT...Mixed precipitation expected. Total snow accumulations up to 4 inches and ice accumulations around two tenths of an inch, mainly at higher elevations and east facing slopes on the Tug Hill.

* WHERE...Northern Oneida County.

* WHEN...Through 7 A.M. EST Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Friday morning and evening commutes.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Lower elevations and the western slope of theTug Hill from Camden down to Oneida Lake will see lower amounts of snow and ice.

* WHAT...Mixed precipitation expected. Total snow accumulations between 2 and 4 inches and ice accumulations between a glaze and a quarter of an inch.

* WHERE...Eastern Catskills, Mohawk Valley, and portions of the southern Adirondacks.

* WHEN...Through 1 A.M. EST Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact this morning and evening commutes.
