* WHAT...West winds 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 45 to 55 mph expected.
* WHERE...The western and southern Adirondacks, Upper Hudson Valley, and Lake George/Saratoga Region.
* WHEN...From 7 P.M. Wednesday to 8 A.M. EST Thursday.
* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and scattered power outages may result.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A line of showers and isolated thunderstorms will rapidly track across the region from west to east this evening. Winds will quickly shift to the west and strengthen. While the strongest winds will likely only last for a short window (2 to 4 hours) tonight, these winds could result in downed tree limbs and scattered power outages. Gusty winds will continue through the early morning hours on Thursday but will gradually weaken.
