LEWIS COUNTY: WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 8 P.M. FRIDAY EVENING TO 5 P.M. EDT SUNDAY.

* WHAT...Mixed precipitation expected. Total snow accumulations of less than an inch and ice accumulations of a tenth to a third of an inch. The greatest ice accumulations are expected across the northern third of the county.

* WHERE...Lewis County.

* WHEN...From 8 PM this evening to 5 PM EDT Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions and the possibility of isolated power outages.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...Be prepared for slippery roads. If you are going outside, watch your first few steps taken on stairs, sidewalks, and driveways. These surfaces could be icy and slippery, increasing your risk of a fall and injury.
