JEFFERSON, LEWIS & OSWEGO COUNTIES: WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 8 P.M. MONDAY TO 6 P.M. EDT WEDNESDAY.

* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations 4 to 9 inches. The higher snowfall amounts will be found across the Tug Hill plateau. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph.

* WHERE...The Eastern Lake Ontario Region...particularly across the higher terrain of the Tug Hill plateau and the higher terrain east of the Black River valley.

* WHEN...From 8 P.M. Monday to 6 P.M. EDT Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be difficult...particularly across the higher terrain. The hazardous conditions may impact the Tuesday morning and evening commutes.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...Periods of snow will result in snow covered roads and limited visibilities. Slow down and use caution while driving. Submit snow reports through our website or social media.
