NYSP: Cold Brook resident facing trio of charges in alleged town of Norway dispute

NORWAY- A local resident is faced with a trio of charges in Herkimer County stemming from reports of a domestic incident, authorities say.

Michael Shannon, 25, of Cold Brook, NY was arrested last Friday morning by the New York State Police (Herkimer). Shannon is formally charged with one felony count of criminal contempt in the first-degree, along with one misdemeanor count each of criminal obstruction of breathing and petit larceny.

According to Troopers, the arrest stems from an alleged domestic dispute, reported early Friday in the town of Norway.

At press time, Shannon’s arrest status was listed as centralized arraignment.
