NYSP: Carthage resident charged with felony grand larceny in Rutland

RUTLAND- A North Country resident is faced with a felony larceny charge in Jefferson County, authorities say.

Lacie A. Thomas, 24, of Carthage, NY was arrested Sunday afternoon by the New York State Police (Watertown). Thomas is formally charged with one felony count of grand larceny in the fourth-degree.

According to Troopers, the arrest stems from a vehicle larceny incident reported early Sunday in the town of Rutland.

At press time, police said that Thomas was issued with an appearance ticket.

There were no further details provided.
