NYSP: Local resident is one of two suspects charged in Jefferson County felony larceny case

WATERTOWN- A local resident is among a pair of suspects charged with felony larceny in Jefferson County, authorities say.

Joshua R. Cox, 32, of Carthage, NY was arrested Thursday evening by the New York State Police (Watertown). Cox is formally charged with one felony count of grand larceny in the fourth-degree (property value greater than $1,000).

Furthermore, David J. Nelson, 30, of Watertown, NY was arrested and charged with the same.

Troopers say these arrests stem from larceny complaints in the town of Watertown.

At press time, police said that both suspects were issued with an appearance ticket.
