NYSP: Mohawk Valley resident charged with aggravated harassment in Boonville

BOONVILLE- A person from the Mohawk Valley is faced with a harassment related charge in Northern Oneida County, authorities say.

Dyrek Wingate, 33, of Utica, NY was arrested early Monday by the New York State Police (Remsen). Wingate is officially charged with one misdemeanor count of aggravated harassment in the second-degree (threat).

According to Troopers, the arrest stems from complaints filed last month in the town of Boonville.

At press time, police said Wingate was issued with an appearance ticket.

There were no additional details provided.
