
CROGHAN- A North Country man is accused of a felony offense in a Lewis County larceny investigation, authorities say.
William A. Carroll, 37, of Natural Bridge, NY was arrested Monday late afternoon by the New York State Police (Lowville). He is officially charged with one felony count of criminally possessing stolen property in the third-degree (value > $3,000).
According to troopers, the arrest stems from complaints filed earlier that same day in the town of Croghan.
At press time, police said an investigation was pending.
Carroll was released on his own recognizance and there were no further details provided.
