NYSP: Property damage wreck in Jefferson County results in DWI charges against North Country resident

RUTLAND- A property damage wreck this week in Jefferson County has resulted in DWI charges against a North Country resident.

During the late hours on Wednesday, the New York State Police (Carthage) arrested Cameron T. Young-Vawter, 20, of Natural Bridge, NY with DWI (first offense) and operating a motor vehicle (w/a .08 of 1% BAC).

According to Troopers, these charges stem from reports of a property damage wreck Wednesday night in the town of Rutland.

At press time, police said that Young-Vawter was released to a third-party.

No injuries were reported and there were no further details provided.
