NYSP: Vehicle larceny investigation in Forestport results in felony arrest

FORESTPORT- Authorities say an arrest has been made regarding a vehicle larceny in Northern Oneida County.

Thomas A. Grant, 42, of Rome, NY was charged by the New York State Police Tuesday afternoon with one felony count of criminally possessing stolen property in the third-degree (value of property > $3,000).

According to Troopers, the arrest stems from a vehicle larceny investigation in the town of Forestport from May 16.

At press time, Grant’s arrest status was listed as held and police said an investigation was pending.

There were no further details provided.
