Aggravated DWI, unlicensed operation charges filed against Lewis County resident in New Bremen, Troopers say

NEW BREMEN- A local resident is accused of intoxicated driving in Lewis County, authorities say.

Andrew J. Staie, 36, of Croghan, NY was arrested Tuesday afternoon by the New York State Police (Carthage). Staie is formally charged with one count each of aggravated DWI, DWI and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the third-degree.

According to Troopers, these charges were all filed in the town of New Bremen.

At press time, police said that Staie was released to a third party.
