WEBB- A domestic incident last week in the Western Adirondacks resulted in charges filed against a local resident, authorities say.
Ryan M. Winslow, 32, of Old Forge, NY was arrested Thursday morning, February 22 by the Town of Webb Police. Winslow is formally charged with two counts of unlawful imprisonment, along with one count each of endangering the welfare of a child and criminal mischief in the fourth-degree.
According to Chief of Police Ron Johnston, the dispute occurred at around 3:00 a.m. Investigation thus far suggests that Winslow allegedly was involved in a physical altercation with another party, while a juvenile was present.
It’s alleged that Winslow took the victim’s cellular device and prevented them from calling emergency services.
Furthermore, police say Winslow prevented the victim and the juvenile from leaving for nearly 4-hours.
At press time, police said that Winslow was issued with appearance tickets, which are returnable to Webb Town Court at a later date.
An order of protection was issued on behalf of the victims.
