ON-AIR SEGMENT: Adirondack Cup Pro F-500 Champ Mike Scouten honors late uncle with victory

Published on February 03, 2026

Mike Scouten ADK Cup 2026

BOONVILLE- It has been fifteen years since Peter J. Scouten was tragically killed in a snowmobile racing accident during the Boonville Snow Festival in 2011.

Ever since, Peter's nephew, Mike Scouten, has been on a mission to fulfill a void within his heart to honor his legacy with an Adirondack Cup Win.

On Sunday, February 1, 2026, Mike did just that by crossing the finish line first for the Adirondack Cup Pro F-500.

"The past three years I have been running in the cup race," Scouten told us. "This was my third opportunity to get in the cup and the third time was the charm!"

Be sure to listen to our latest on-air coverage with Scouten for more of his remarks:

Scouten was among a few other local racers who secured top-three spots in some of the highlight races from the weekend, including:

Pro Star Cup Pro Champ Final:

  1. Blaine Stephenson, Hutchinson, MN.
  2. Matt Goede, New Germany, MN.
  3. Danick Lambert, Quebec, Canada.

440 Super Mod. Adirondack Cup Final:

  1. Spencer Landrx, Brookline, NH.
  2. Joe Bourgeois, Lowville, NY.
  3. Jamie Bourgeois, Boonville, NY.

Pro F-500 Adirondack Cup Final:

  1. Mike Scouten, Forestport, NY.
  2. Jerrett VanDolder, Ontario, Canada.
  3. Anthony Pettinelli, Rome, NY.

Pro Champ Final Adirondack Cup:

  1. Matt Goede, New Germany, MN.
  2. Spencer Landrx, Brookline, NH.
  3. Dane Klinger, Athens, WI.

Though it is still too far out yet to determine, the Boonville Snow Festival II committee is looking forward to hopefully having another opportunity to host fast action racing in 2027.
