Troopers charge North Country resident with felony criminal mischief

WEST CARTHAGE- A local resident from the North Country is faced with an accusation filed in the wake of a reported disturbance late last month in Jefferson County.

On Monday evening, the New York State Police (Carthage) arrested and charged Mason L. Bailey, 21, of Carthage, NY with one felony count of criminal mischief in the third-degree (damaging another person’s property w/damages exceeding $250).

According to Troopers, this arrest was made stemming from a disturbance complaint on January 24 in the village of West Carthage.

At press time, Bailey’s arrest status suggested an appearance for centralized arraignment.
