ON-AIR SEGMENT: LCPH Immunization Coordinator Emily Ward gives early season flu and COVID update

LOWVILLE- Only a handful of flu cases have been confirmed so far in Lewis County, but it is still early on in the season.

This development is according to Emily Ward, Immunization Coordinator for Lewis County Public Health. Meanwhile, local health officials are also keeping an eye on COVID.

For folks who may be unaware, the Public Health Office will host another flu and COVID vaccine clinic at the Lowville Fire Hall on Thursday, December 5 from 10:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. and then 3:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M (make sure you bring your insurance card).
