LOWVILLE- On Friday, September 12, Lewis County Sheriff, Mike Carpinelli, joined North Country News and discussed a few key safety reminders as students have retuned to the classroom for the academic year.

Specifically, the Sheriff warns the potential consequences for drivers who pass a stopped school bus.

In addition, the Sheriff urges students to do their part and pay attention around crosswalks and while boarding/disembarking from a school bus.
