ON-AIR SEGMENT: Local agriculture figure Ben Simons gives latest U.S. Farm Bill report

On Friday, March 27, 2026, local agriculture figure, Ben Simons, joined North Country News and provided an update concerning the U.S. Farm Bill.

Since 2018, U.S. farmers and agriculture producers have been under the same guidelines (for context, the Farm Bill is typically updated every five years), but Mr. Simons claims that there very well could be a newly revised farm bill come this summer.
